Bob Bailin, a New York Director of Photography, founded Feature Systems in 1972. As a DP, Bob understood the importance of having good lighting and grip equipment delivered to the set on time and in working condition.

The idea was to provide producers with the best service and equipment on the East Coast. Almost 40 years later, we are still committed to those same principles.

With over 30 trucks, generators and support vehicles, Feature Systems can provide equipment and service on a 7/24 schedule from either of our two locations. Our main office and rental warehouse is in Carlstadt, NJ, only minutes from midtown and the other one is located in Baltimore Maryland. These two warehouses allow us to easily service most East Coast locations.

Feature Systems always has the latest in lighting, grip, distribution, generators and dolly equipment. Our vehicle fleet consists of specially designed 5-Ton and 10-Ton equipment trucks, custom rigged with shelves and racks as well as truck mounted generators ranging from 1000 amp to 1600 amps.
